They took me to a faraway place
where I could never learn to speak the language
where my ghostly shadow was projected in an endless echo
soulless, patiently waiting to be released
into a complete existence, translated into agency
from a mass of unintelligible sounds
then came a day of joy
that I could not have imagined during my wait
birds singing like dying
dancing ecstatically to the beat of the doomed
burning smiles welcoming warm wounds
stablike laughter imploring for severed tissue
we erupt, break out like wildfire
to a grand communion of all living beings
on a day when none shall recognize a self any more
we drift into a communial, perpetual lava of unholy beings
